(July 11, 2019, 12:00 am)After losing consciousness in a supermarket and experiencing chest pain and vomiting was given a blood test for heart attack. Staff lost interest as soon as came back negative. Even though in pain was told I would have to sit in a chair for several hours waiting for a back up test. No pain relief offered and discharged even though still in pain. No alternative investigations considered a...[Full review]

(June 24, 2019, 12:00 am)I ended up getting a taxi from N Shields to A and E at midnight with complication of chronic illness. I had to wait 7 hours in draughty waiting area to see a doctor. The waiting time was 6 to 7 hrs when I arrived, 7 to 8 when I left. This is unacceptable.

The nurse I saw was lovely, really helpful and put me at ease when I was so feeling so terrible. (June 7, 2019, 12:00 am)My husband was sent to Cramlington hospital from Wansbeck, At Wansbeck we booked in, saw triage and were sent across to Cramlington. Upon arrival we waiting in a queue to book in with the receptionist, Thats when i thought... Why does a £95 million facility have 1 person to book in all the patients? yet at Wansbeck there was 2 people on the desk and its a less busy hospital. God forbid...[Full review]

(June 1, 2019, 12:00 am)i was taken to A&E by a paramedic although the queue was quite long I didn’t have to wait too long before being taken to resus where I was given tests and treatment to bring my heart rate down. After re running tests I was admitted to ward 10 it was around 3.30 am . I was given an en-suite room a nightgown and then a hot meal.
